Beyond Haven began much like any band. In the spring of ’07 two childhood friends (Brian Vain and Dan DeBiasio) who loved playing and writing music together, decided to form a band unlike any other. It started out as more of a project that could allow each member to write songs that reflected a piece of each individual. After meeting up with two more members ( Jason Graham & Mark Sandy ) which had the same vision, they decided to put their collective minds together and see what would happen. This meeting yielded some promising results; it was then that they formed Beyond Haven. Recording a 4 song demo and a full length album called "NEW ERA" Beyond Haven played live as much as they could, In fact in the first 2 and a half years they shared the stage with such acts as Anvil, Finger 11, Thornley, Colin James, State of shock, Remain, MRO....and many more talented artists. After 3 years and a short break, Beyond Haven decided to part ways, through this split Brian & Jason chose to push forward and continue with the project and vision that was first sought from the beginning. After meeting and jamming with Jeff Dumais & Dan Smethurst they all knew that they had reached a new level in their music writing, and found the two new members to the band/project of Beyond Haven. Coming from all different backgrounds and musical influences, In Beyond Haven they all believe in just playing what makes them happy and what comes out when they are together..... It was a NEW STRANGTH, NEW SOUND, NEW POWER. When continuing with the goal of Beyond Haven they knew it would not be the same as before and understood change happens in life and no matter what they would not give up. " To exist is to change, to change is to mature, to mature is to create oneself endlessly. " Each of us walks our own and different path through life, each path molds who we are as people. And who we are as people shines through when we walk the same path together. That is the path that leads us…… BEYOND HAVEN.
